Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 01 SEP 2026Last Updated: 01 SEP 2026

Important Information

By making a booking, approving a quotation, authorising our technician to commence work, or accepting our services, you acknowledge the applicable terms for your booking.

These Terms should be read together with the quotation, booking confirmation, invoice or service scope provided for your booking.

1

General

CLEAN Aircon Services provides air-conditioning cleaning, servicing, inspection, diagnosis and related maintenance services for residential and other properties in Singapore.

The exact service provided will depend on the package selected, the quotation issued, and the actual condition, design and accessibility of the air-conditioning unit.

By booking or accepting our services, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2

Service Scope

General Aircon Servicing

Intended for routine maintenance and normal to moderate dirt build-up. The indoor unit normally remains installed. General servicing does not automatically include full dismantling, chemical overhaul, repair work or replacement parts.

Chemical Cleaning

A deeper cleaning service for internal dirt, mould, odour-causing build-up and contamination. The exact scope depends on the selected package and unit design.

Cleaning is intended to improve the cleanliness and condition of the unit, but does not guarantee complete removal of stains, odours, mould or contamination caused by inaccessible areas, material deterioration, environmental conditions or underlying faults.

Blower Wheel Cleaning

Where included in the selected service, the indoor-unit blower wheel may be removed, cleaned and reinstalled. Removal is subject to model design, accessibility and condition.

Chemical Overhaul

A more extensive service that may involve removal of the indoor unit, dismantling of major components, blower wheel removal, deep cleaning, drying, reassembly and reinstallation. The exact dismantling scope depends on the individual unit.

3

Quotation & Additional Charges

Prices are based on the information available at the time of quotation and may depend on the number of units, model, size, accessibility, installation height, condition and requested scope.

If site conditions differ materially from the information provided at booking, the quoted price or scope may need to be revised.

Additional work or charges will be discussed with the Customer and approved before the additional work is carried out.

Examples of separately chargeable work may include:

  • Spare parts and replacement components.
  • Refrigerant or gas-related work.
  • Electrical or PCB repair.
  • Fan motor or compressor-related work.
  • Drainage repair.
  • Special access equipment or additional site visits.
  • Work outside the agreed service scope.
4

Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling

A booking is confirmed only when CLEAN Aircon Services has acknowledged and confirmed the appointment.

Customers should provide cancellation or rescheduling notice as early as reasonably possible.

Cancellation and rescheduling policy: Customers may change or cancel a reservation up to two days before the scheduled service date. Changes or cancellations from one day before the service date, including on the day of service, are not available through the customer portal. Please contact CLEAN Aircon Services directly for urgent circumstances or if the technician has already been dispatched.

CLEAN Aircon Services may also reschedule an appointment due to unsafe conditions, technician availability, severe weather, access restrictions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5

Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for:

  • Providing reasonably accurate information about the property and air-conditioning units.
  • Providing reasonable and safe access to the work area.
  • Keeping the immediate work area reasonably clear.
  • Informing us of known faults, previous repairs, leaks or other relevant issues.
  • Informing us of building-management or access requirements.
  • Obtaining any landlord, building or management approval where required.
  • Protecting or removing valuable and moisture-sensitive items near the work area.
  • Providing electricity and water access where reasonably required for the agreed service.
6

Equipment Condition & Limitations

Air-conditioning systems, especially older units, may contain brittle, corroded, weakened or previously damaged components.

Examples include:

  • Brittle plastic casings, clips, brackets or drain pans.
  • Corrosion or rust.
  • Existing water damage.
  • Previous incorrect installation or modification.
  • Concealed pipe, wiring or drainage defects.
  • Previously repaired or damaged components.

We will take reasonable care during service. However, we cannot guarantee that aged or deteriorated components will withstand normal dismantling, cleaning or reassembly.

Certain models or installations may also prevent safe or practical access to particular components.

7

Chemical Cleaning & Blower Wheel

Chemical cleaning is intended to reduce dirt, mould, odour-causing build-up and other contamination where these are contributing to the condition of the unit.

Where blower wheel removal is included, our technician will assess the unit before attempting removal.

Blower wheel removal may not be possible where the model design, access, condition, installation or component integrity makes safe removal or reinstallation impractical.

If a material part of the booked service cannot safely or reasonably be performed because of the unit's design, condition, accessibility or risk of damage, CLEAN Aircon Services will inform the Customer and discuss the available options before proceeding.

8

Repairs & Existing Faults

Cleaning and servicing do not automatically repair pre-existing mechanical, electrical, refrigerant or structural faults.

Examples may include:

  • PCB or electrical faults.
  • Compressor faults.
  • Fan motor faults.
  • Refrigerant leaks.
  • Damaged drain systems.
  • Structural or installation problems.
  • Other faults unrelated to the cleaning work performed.

Where a fault is identified, we may recommend further diagnosis or repair. Any repair work or replacement parts will normally be quoted separately, and the Customer is not obliged to proceed with separately quoted repair work.

9

Service Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or invoice, CLEAN Aircon Services provides a 30-day workmanship/service warranty for cleaning and servicing work performed by CLEAN Aircon Services. The 30-day warranty period begins on the date the relevant service is completed.

Where an issue is reasonably determined to be directly related to our workmanship or service, we may inspect the unit and will provide reasonable corrective action within the original service scope at no additional labour charge.

This is a service/workmanship warranty and not a warranty that the air-conditioning equipment itself will remain fault-free.

Warranty exclusions do not exclude damage directly caused by CLEAN Aircon Services' workmanship or failure to exercise reasonable care. Customers should notify CLEAN Aircon Services as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering an issue during the warranty period.

Warranty exclusions include, where applicable:

  • Pre-existing faults.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Age-related deterioration or corrosion.
  • Brittle or previously damaged components.
  • Electrical, PCB, compressor or motor faults.
  • Refrigerant leakage.
  • Improper installation.
  • Customer misuse or neglect.
  • Third-party repair, dismantling or modification after our service.
  • Events outside our reasonable control.
10

Damage & Liability

CLEAN Aircon Services will exercise reasonable care when carrying out the agreed services.

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, age-related deterioration, brittle components, previous incorrect installation, customer instructions, lack of reasonable access, customer failure to disclose known defects, third-party work or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

11

Photos, Videos & Service Reports

CLEAN Aircon Services may take before-and-after photographs, videos, endoscope images, diagnostic notes and other records for service documentation, quality control, customer reporting, warranty assessment and dispute resolution.

Where applicable, these materials may be shared with the Customer through WhatsApp, email or another agreed communication channel.

Endoscope images and service photographs are intended to document the condition observed at the time of inspection and do not guarantee that every internal defect has been identified.

Public use of identifiable Customer or property images for marketing or advertising purposes will require appropriate consent.

12

Payment

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or invoice, payment is due upon completion of the agreed service.

The Customer is responsible for the agreed service amount and any additional work that has been approved.

Accepted payment methods may include PayNow, bank transfer, card, cash or other methods communicated by CLEAN Aircon Services.

Where a deposit is required, the appointment may only be confirmed after the deposit has been received.

13

Privacy

CLEAN Aircon Services may collect personal information reasonably required to provide and administer the requested services.

This may include:

  • Customer name and contact details.
  • Property address.
  • Booking and service information.
  • Service history.
  • Payment-related information.
  • Service photographs, videos and diagnostic records.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data-protection requirements.

Where WhatsApp or another third-party communication service is used, relevant communications may be processed through that platform.

14

Complaints & Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact CLEAN Aircon Services as soon as reasonably practicable if they have concerns about a service.

We may request photographs, videos, service records or access to the equipment so that the issue can be properly assessed.

The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes directly and in good faith.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a Customer from exercising any mandatory statutory right or remedy available under Singapore law.

15

Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

The parties submit to the applicable courts and legal processes of Singapore, subject to any mandatory legal rights or dispute-resolution mechanisms.

CLEAN Aircon Services may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this website together with an updated effective date.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the agreed price or scope of a completed service.

Customer Acknowledgement

By booking or accepting services from CLEAN Aircon Services, the Customer acknowledges that:

  • The Customer has provided reasonably accurate information about the air-conditioning system.
  • The Customer understands the selected service scope.
  • Additional work may be recommended where actual site conditions differ from the original booking.
  • Blower wheel removal and chemical overhaul are subject to equipment design, accessibility and condition.
  • Cleaning does not guarantee correction of pre-existing mechanical, electrical, refrigerant or structural faults.
